It’s TV’s biggest week of the year (next to sweeps, of course) and the top actors and actresses of the small screen are all vying to win a 2010 Primetime Emmy Award.
Will Damages‘ Glenn Close take home the award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama for the third year in a row, or does Emmy newcomer, Connie Britton, stand to take home the prize? Will 30 Rock actors sweep the comedic categories again, or will Fox’s comedy, Glee, cash in on its 19 nominations?

| A three-time Emmy award winner, Tony Shalhoub is nominated for Best Comedy Actor. Tony has been nominated for eight consecutive years in the same category for Monk. |

| Actor Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory is nominated for Best Comedy Actor. Although The Big Bang Theory did not pick up any nominations for the show as a whole, this will be Jim’s second nomination for an Emmy. |
